Sometimes I feel I don't have much to say about domestic violence, but get me on a roll and I wont shut up. I have been away from my abuser for 7 years now, and yes he still drives me crazy. He has moved on, re-married, had a child...and yes, been put in jail for domestic assault among other things...and yes, still feels the need to call me and question everything I do.
I'm happy to say I didn't hear a peep from him at Christmas, but sad for my daughter.
I guess its always a cycle. I am so done with abusive personalities and all the crap that goes with it. After being away from him, I have realized how bad it actually was.
So here's looking forward to 2013, hope everyone has a great year!!! I will blog more for sure...at least one post a month !!!

That stinks for your daughter. I know the disappointment that the kids feel when a parent doesn't call on special days. My girls went through that with their mom so many times. I'm sorry for her. But I am sure that you had a little part of you that was pretty glad. Happy holidays!
